A hybrid involving Dendrobium speciosum subsp. curvicaule and D. jonesii (fide D.L.Jones, Native Orchids Australia 475 (1988), as D. speciosum var. curvicaule) or D. jonesii var. jonesii and D. speciosum (fide A.W.Dockrill, Austral. Indig. Orchids 2nd edn, 1: 508 (1993)) or D. jonesii and D. speciosum subsp. curvicaule (fide Austral. Orchid Name Index, as Thelychiton jonesii and T. curvicaulis).
