Thrixspermum moorei Rchb.f. is listed in synonymy of Sarcochilus moorei (Rchb.f.) Schltr. by A.W.Dockrill, Austral. Sarcanthinae 21 (1967), in synonymy of Rhinerrhiza moorei (Rchb.f.) M.A.Clem., B.Wallace & D.L.Jones by M.A.Clements, Austral. Orchid Res. 1: 128 (1989), and in synonymy of Rhinerrhizopsis moorei (Rchb.f.) Ormerod by P.Ormerod, Oasis suppl. 1: 3 (2001) and D.L.Jones & M.A.Clements, Austral. Orchid Res. 5: 12 (2006). Sarcochilus moorei Rchb.f., nom. inval., pro syn. and Pteroceras moorei (Rchb.f.) Bakh.f. are both is listed in synonymy of Rhinerrhizopsis moorei (Rchb.f.) Ormerod by D.L.Jones & M.A.Clements, Austral. Orchid Res. 5: 12 (2006). Sarcochilus moorei, Rhinerrhiza moorei and Rhinerrhizopsis moorei are all now considered to have been misapplied to Rhinerrhizopsis matutina D.L.Jones & M.A.Clem. in Australia.
