  • Text: There is no reference to the earlier protologue. Cleve uses the notation pp. 20 & 58 of Ceratium (tripos var. ) bucephalum. On p. 36 he uses the notation Ceratium bucephalum.
  • AMANI comment: This article appear to have been communicated twice to the academy. It can be found with Kongl. Svenska Vetenskapsakademiens Handlingar. Bd 32(8) communicated Oct 11 1899 and Kongl. Svenska Vetenskapsakademiens Handlingar. Bd 34(2) communicated April 11 1900
