Listed as synonymous with Nervilia plicata (Andr.) Schltr. by M.A.Clements, Austral. Orchid Res. 1: 98 (1989) and A.W.Dockrill, Austral. Indig. Orchids 2nd edn, 1: 242 (1993). Nervilia plicata is now considered to have been misapplied to Nervilia dallachyana (F.Muell. ex Benth.) Schltr. in Australia.
