The name "Eriochilus dilatatus subsp. dilatatus" is listed by N.Hoffman & A.Brown, Orchids South-West Australia 2nd edn, 179 (1992), N.Hoffman & A.Brown, Orchids South-West Australia 2nd edn (rev.), 179 (1998) and by G.Paczkowska & A.R.Chapman, W. Austral. Fl. Desc. Cat. 85 (2000). However, this autonym did not exist until established by S.D.Hopper & A.P.Brown, Nuytsia 16(1): 37–38 (2006), in accordance with ICN Art. 26.3 (Melbourne Code, 2012).
