P.E.Parmentier, Bull. Sci. France Belgique 27: 300 (1896), inadvertently used the epithet 'aromatica' instead of 'xerophila' when describing his varieties of Drimys xerophila. As his intention is quite clear, these errors should be treated as orthographic variants.
