The nomenclature of plants referred to this name is uncertain. R.Spencer, Hort. Fl. South-eastern Australia, Dicotyledons 3: 38 (2002) refers Australian material to Pelargonium 'Graveolens', a group of mostly sterile cultivars of uncertain origin.
