- Dichopogon was treated as a distinct genus in Flora of Australia, but is now included by many in Arthropodium following Stringer & Conran (1991). However, in WA three species are retained in Dichopogon, at least in part because formal names are not available in Arthropodium. Recent NSW treatments also retain Dichopogon (2 formal, 1 informal spp.).
