- Intergrades/hybrids are known between C. foelscheana, C. dichromophloia (and as 'C. rubens' and 'C. drysdalensis') and C. greeniana (and as 'C. curtipes') (Hill & Johnson, 1995). Hill & Johnson (1995) reported widespread intergradation between their species C. greeniana, C. byrnesii, C. curtipes and C. dampieri. All of these taxa are here considered conspecific. Hybrids are known between C. greeniana (also as 'C. curtipes' and 'C. dampieri') and C. polycarpa (Hill & Johnson, 1995). Hybrids between C. greeniana ('C. byrnesii') and C. latifolia are known (Hill & Johnson, 1995). Hybrids are known between C. greeniana ('C. curtipes') and C. terminalis (also as 'C. opaca') (Hill & Johnson, 1995). Hybrids are known between C. nesophila and C. greeniana ('C. byrnesii') (Hill & Johnson, 1995). Hybrids are known in the NT between C. greeniana ('C. curtipes') and C. umbonata (Hill & Johnson, 1995). A presumed stabilised paleo-hybrid between C. terminalis ('C. opaca') & C. greeniana ('C. dampieri') has been named C. x pedimontana L.A.S.Johnson.
