Text: "Some Mainland Australian records have misidentified this species as B. rufus, but they are in fact Baeomyces heteromorphus Nyl. ex C.Bab. & Mitt. The Heard Island specimens were called "cf. rufus" by the collectors, but they are B. heteromorphus too."
