The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Comment:Brongniart refers to A.Brongniart, Voy. Coquille, Bot. t. XLIX, B, which Stafleu & Cowan, Tax. Lit. state was not published until 1834. The name is validly published by Brongniart in Voy. Coquille, Bot. 224, t. 49B (seen at K) with the citation "le port Jackson à la Nouvelle Hollande".
