The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Esq. in a ravine at the base of the "Pine Hills", near Bathurst, New South Wales, in October, 1822; and by the same Naturalist, in 1823, was introduced to the Royal Gardens at Kew, whence flowering specimens were obligingly communicated by W.T.
