Ward comprised the material from which Lindley's "Sketch of the Vegetation of the Swan River Colony" (Edwards's Bot. Regist., Appendix: 16, 1839) was compiled. If an appropriate specimen is extant in Bentham's herbarium, it must be recognised as the Type."
