APC Comment: A New Zealand taxon, now referred to Myoporum laetum G.Forst. Doubtfully recorded for Australia by G.Kunze, Linnaea 20: 31 (1847). The lectotype for a synonym, M. pubescens G.Forst., is given as "Botany Bay", but this is likely to be in error (see R.J.Chinnock, Eremophila & Allied Gen. 115–117 (2007).
