The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Lectotype:"LECTOTYPE: Swan River, Drummond 253, 1848 (K). ISOLECTOTYPE: P. Benl (1940) designated Drummond 353 as the lectotype of this name but his lectotypification must be set aside since Bentham did not cite that collection with the original description. "
