The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. APC Comment: An assessment of the correct generic name for the triggerplants is provided by J.Wege, Telopea 12(3): 321-332 (2009). Wege gives the authorship of Stylidium as "Sw." in C.L.Willdenow rather than "Sw. ex Willd.".
