APC Comment: A New Guinea taxon now referred to Thrixspermum barbellata (Schltr.) M.A.Clem., B.Wallace & D.L.Jones. Described from material reputedly collected from Australia, although this is considered doubtful (see M.A.Clements, Austral. Orchid Research 1: 144 (1989)).
