Comment: Bentham lists several subseries names in his treatment of Acacia but gives no reference to basionyms for these. However, many of the subseries epithets correspond with the unranked groups first described by Bentham, London J. Bot. 1 (1842), and Bentham refers to his work being "my third careful revision of the species". The subseries name is here treated as a new combination under Art. 41.4 (Shenzhen Code, 2018). -
