Comment: nom. inval. Willis gives the authorship of this designation as "(Benth.), indicates that it is a "comb. nov.", and also cites "[syn. Athrixia stricta, var. suffruticosa Benth. (1866)]". However, no bibliography is included and since Willis does not provide a full and direct reference to the place of publication of the intended basionym, as required under ICN Art. 41.5 (Shenzhen Code, 2018), the new combination is not validly published.
