The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.
Showing Dockrillia linguiformis var. huntiana

Comment: Jones cites the authorship of this name as "(Rupp) D.L.Jones". This may indicate an intention to publish a new combination based on Dendrobium linguiforme var. huntianum Rupp, which is listed in synonymy. Jones cites "Rupp (1942)" but does not include details of Rupp's protologue in the bibliography (p. 778). There is thus no full and direct reference to the place of publication of the intended basionym as required by ICN Art. 41.5 (Shenzhen Code, 2018)
