Sphenotoma phlogiflorum Diels & E.Pritz. , nom. illeg., nom. superfl. scientific apni Diels, F.L.E. & Pritzel, E.G. (6 December 1904), Fragmenta Phytographiae Australiae occidentalis. Botanische Jahrbücher für Systematik, Pflanzengeschichte und Pflanzengeographie 35(2-3): 486 [nom. nov.]

  • Comment: Diels & Pritzel ascribe this name to "F. v. M." and cite "(B. IV. 263)" in reference to G.Bentham, Fl. Austral. 4: 263–264 (1868), where the name given is Dracophyllum phlogiflorum Benth., itself published as a replacement name for Sphenotoma dracophylloides Sond. This is here considered to constitute an indirect reference to the replaced synonym under ICN Art. 41.3 (Shenzhen Code, 2018).
