  • Type: north-east of Badgingarra, Western Australia [precise locality withheld for conservation reasons], 16 August 2008, M. Hislop 3804 (holo: PERTH 07978014; iso: CANB, K, MEL).
  • Etymology: "From the Latin septemfidus (seven-cleft), as most of the leaves are deeply divided into seven branches. A typical leaf is shown in Figure 1H."
