Type: Australia, Northern Territory, Arnhem Land, 19 km E of Jabiru (12 37'S, 133 03'E), on top of sandstone escarpment, dissected sandstone landscape, skeletal sandy soil with lateritic gravel among sandstone blocks, low open shrubland, in sandy seepage area, growing among grasses, 18 Apr. 1989, R.W.Johnson 4530 ( holotypus BRI - AQ657305; isotypi DNA, CANB).
