The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Text:"Bostock and Spokes (1998a, p. 133) cited the type of this name as ‘Java, T.Nees; holo: ?L n.v.’, but Nees did not visit Indonesia and no such specimen is known. The figure selected here as the lectotype is the only presently known original material."
