APC Comment: Intergrades are recorded between E. eremicola subsp. eremicola and E. longissima (Nicolle, 2005). Hybrids are recorded between E. longissima and E. aff. hypolaena (Nicolle et al., 2006). In WA E. trichopoda (syn. Eucalyptus sp. M sensu Brooker & Kleinig) is maintained as a distinct species, but seems to have no formally published epithet. -
