The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.

Type: Types: Western Australia: Drummond 1st coll. 907 Female (lecto, here selected, MEL 14770; isolecto BM). Residual syntypes: Busselton, Pries Female (MEL 14768, 14769); Swan River, Drummond 1st coll. 381 Male (CGE, MEL 14763), 369 Female (MEL 14766, 14722, LUND). The lectotype is chosen from among specimens cited by Mueller, excluding Mueller's own collection from 'Circum montes Stirlingi' which Bentham regards as possibly a separate variety of this species, and also excluding 'Drummond 869' since this appears to be a misreading of '369'.
