  • APC Comment: A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index (1991) stated that Poiret did not validly make the combinations Scirpus androgynus (p. 2601) and S. denudatus (p. 2603). However, under Article 33.1 of the 2006 (Vienna) edition of the ICBN, these names are considered to be validly published.
