Comment: See proposal for conservation by A.A.Bullock, Taxon 10 (1961) 61–62. Nom. cons. vs. CARRICHTERA Adans. nom. rej. (ref. I.C.B.N. (1983) No. 2936). Index Nominum Genericorum 1 (1979) 296, and the I.C.B.N. (1983) 350 give the author of the type as Ascherson – it should be DC. – see comments above under lectotypification.
