Australian Plant Name Index (APNI)
The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.

Etymology:"From Latin, angustus, narrow, and flos, a flower, referring to the narrow perianth tube."
APC Comment:Weston, Flora of Australia 16: 112-113 (1995) recognised three clinally intergrading, unnamed forms. The name P. angustiflora var.? pedicellosa Benth. was not accounted for in Flora of Australia. The taxon came from the Murchison River, which is well outside the current known distribution of this endemic WA species.
