Type locality:It was found in the largest quantity in May, N. & E. of the Faeroes (62 [degrees] 36' Lat. N., 6 [degrees] 20 ' Long. W. and 62 [degrees] 5' Lat. N., 4 [degrees] 30 ' Long. W.), in July S. of Iceland (63 [degrees] 29' Lat' N., 20 [degrees] 24' Long. W) and E. of Iceland (66 [degrees] 15 ' Lat. N., 12 [degrees] 13 ' Long. W), but in 1904 it also appeared in many other places round the Faeroes and Iceland, most frequently near the coast.
