  • Comment: The combination was not validly published in this work although the name was used by the authors. The varietal name was originally published in an unpublished thesis submitted to Macquarie Univeristy N.S.W. in 1979 by H.T. Brady on the Diatoms of Magela Creek, Northern Territory.
