Comment:See the discussion in Silva et al 1996:936. Chaetomorpha capillaris cannot be used in association with the authority (Kuetz.) Boergesen (basionym: Rhizoclonium capillaris Kuetz.) and there appears to be a warm-water and cold-water species in Australia.
