Type locality: Holotype: KM 2050 tetrasporophyte (Fig. 2). Holotype and isotypes deposited in BISH. Type Locality: Lualualei Beach Park, Oahu, Hawaii (21°26'N, 158011'W) (Fig. 1), collected by K.J. Mcdermid on 3 July 1988 at the +0.3 m (above MLLW) tidal level on a limestone solution bench exposed to surf. -
