Comment:Bornet's plants of Gelidium pannosum are equivalent to Gelidiella tenuissima whereas Geldium pannosum Grunow is eqivalent to Gelidiopsis pannosa (Santelices & Rico 2002:436 f; Silva et al. 1996 Univ Calif Publ Bot 29:152, 361). This description represents the first description of Parviphycus tenuissimus.
