  • Type locality: Holotype: MELU, K9534 (Fig. 1). Isotype in UC. Type Locality: Old Gulch, Lord Howe Island. The holotype, plus isotypes, collected on 9 December 1978 from calcareous substrata overlying a basaltic ridge crest at 14 m depth on the eastern side of the mouth of the inlet.
