Type locality: Holotype: MELU-K17001 (Fig. 2), from Yanchep (31°32'S; 115°33'E), Western Australia (Fig. 1), drift on the stalks of Amphibolis antarctica (Labillardiere) Sonder et Ascherson ex Asherson, some thalli attaching to the blades of Craspedocarpus venosus (Kuetzing) Min-Thein et Womersley, also epiphytic on the host (Gerald, Lesleigh and Jessica Kraft, 20.ix.1990, MELU), with isotypes (MELU 17002-14004) in MELU and MICH; female/cystocarpic, one wet-preserved and four dried specimens. -
