Comment: Silva et al (1996) Univ. Calif. Public. Bot. 79:212 indicates the Sieber specimen was collected in NSW. Womersley (1994) The Marine Benthic Flora of Southern Australia Pt IIIA p. 158 indicates that the type may be a Sieber specimen in the Diesing herbarium.
