Comment: Womersley 1987 The Marine Benthic Flora of Southern Australia Pt II cites NSW but Millar & Kraft 1994 Australian Systematic Botany 7:33 excludes the NSW records from this taxon as an erroneous Harvey specimen actually from Port Phillip Bay, Victoria. Phillips & Price 1997 Aust Syst Bot 10:712 also exclude the records from Qld. Records outside Australia are considered erroneous by Phillips 2000:309. -
