Comment: Thwaites does not accept his new name, stating in the "Addenda et Corrigenda Posteriora" that it is synonymous with Eriachne triseta Nees ex Steud. The name Megalachne zeylanica Thwaites is thus invalid under ICBN Art. 34.1 (2006).
