  • Type: "Extension of Douglas Road into Victoria Dam catchment MARTIN, 450 m N of locked Water Corp. gate, E side of track, 32˚04'16"S, 116˚04'04"E, 23 Nov. 2004, G. Brockman 1471. holo: PERTH 06945643!."
  • Etymology: "Named for Garry Brockman (1954–), physiotherapist, who has assisted us in many ways in recent studies of southwest orchids, and helped in discussions on the taxonomy of Paracaleana. Garry has made several valuable collections of species in the genus described as new herein, including the first collection of P. gracilicordata."
