Oldenlandia galioides (F.Muell.) F.Muell., legitimate, scientific comb. nov. apni
Mueller, F.J.H. von (1881), Plants of North-Western Australia. Western Australia - Votes and Proceedings of the Legislative Council: 9 [comb. nov.]
basionym: Hedyotis galioides F.Muell. legitimate
  • Comment: Authorship of this species is sometimes given as (F.Muell.) Benth. & Hook., in reference to G.Bentham & J.D.Hooker, Gen. Pl. 2(1): 58 (1873). While Bentham and Hooker state under the generic entry for Oldenlandia "Huc pertinent inter alia... H. galioides F.Muell.", they do not make the combination at species rank.
