Comment: Clements attributes this name to "F.Muell. ex Rupp" but Rupp treated it only as a synonym of Dendrobium tenuissimum Rupp. Although Clements listed a Hartmann specimen in MEL as the "holotype", since this name was not validly published by Rupp the specimen does not represent type material.
