Cyathodes acerosa R.Br. ex Roem. & Schult., legitimate, scientific comb. nov. apni
Roemer, J.J. & Schultes, J.A. (1819), Systema Vegetabilium Edn. 16, 4: 473 [comb. nov.] BHL
basionym: Ardisia acerosa Gaertn. legitimate
  • Comment: Roemer and Schultes provide no evidence that the type came from Australia, but the synonyms quoted by Bentham suggest that Australian occurrence is dependent upon the synonymy of Styphelia oxycedrus Labill. with this species. Index Kewensis gives R.Brown, Prodr. (1810) 539, but R.Brown does not validly make the combination therein.
