Lasiopetalum arborescens W.T.Aiton, legitimate, scientific tax. nov. apni
Aiton, W.T. (1811), Hortus Kewensis Edn. 2, 2: 36 [tax. nov.] BHL
  • Type: "Nat. of New South Wales. Mr. George Caley."
common name: Nettle-tree-leaved Lasiopetalum [n/a]
  • Comment: The authorship of this name is given by some references (e.g. A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 1749 (1991)) as "Dryand. in W.T.Aiton". While Dryander certainly made significant contributions to Aiton's work there is no internal evidence of his authorship of the name or description as required by ICN Art. 46 (Melbourne Code, 2012).
