Treated as Oxalis corniculata subsp. corniculata on ChI (see D.J.DuPuy, Fl. Australia 50: 309 (1993)), and in SA and Tas. Treated as Oxalis corniculata var. corniculata in Vic, where Oxalis corniculata var. atropurpurea is also recognised as a distinct taxon.
