APC Comment
Aster erubescens Sieber ex Spreng. (1826) predates Eurybia erubescens Sieber ex DC. (1836) which is often erroneously interpreted as the basionym for Olearia erubescens. Hybrids occur between Olearia erubescens and Olearia argophylla (N.G.Walsh & N.S.Lander in N.G.Walsh & T.J.Entwisle (eds), Fl. Victoria 4: 892 (1999)), and between Olearia erubescens and Olearia megalophylla (N.G.Walsh pers. comm. 2011).
