C.T.White & W.D.Francis, Proc. Roy. Soc. Queensland 37: 161 (1926) record "Eupatorium rivularum Regel" as naturalised in Queensland. This is interpreted here as an orthographic variant of Eupatorium riparium Regel, rather than a record of the American taxon Eupatorium rivulorum B.L.Rob. (now referred to Fleischmannia imitans (B.L.Rob.) R.M.King & H.Rob.), which is otherwise unknown from Australia.
