The use of the name "Logania lanifolae Schlect." by M.Gandoger, Bull. Soc. Bot. France 70: 921 (1924) is a typographical error for L. linifolia Schltdl., misapplied by Gandoger to L. albiflora (see B.J.Conn, Austral. Syst. Bot., 591 (1995)).
