- Although the name Chamaeraphis paradoxa is often cited with the authorship "(R.Br) Poir.", the listing by Poiret (Encycl. Suppl. 2: 189 (1811)) does not directly associate the generic name with the epithet and thus the name is not validly published there (ICBN Art. 33).
