- Published as "Podosperma pollackii" by F.Mueller, Fragm., 12: 21 (1882). The name commemorates Joseph Polak, and Mueller's subsequent listing in Syst. Census Austral. Pl. 140 (1883) as "Podosperma polakii" is here treated as an orthographic correction.
